Foreword A one-time rookie reviews three years Of laughter, merrimcnt, joy, and tears, Of fine times had, and jobs well done At a school which is still to her unumber one.' Three years of the things she'll remember bestg The serious times too, along with the rest. Of assemblies that sometimes seemed pretty wild And even those that were awfully mildg Of dances at school that were always a treat, And the Hot Shoppe' where the gang would meet. Of football heroes, both big and bold, And the days that we watched them . . . bitter Of yelling cheers till we're almost dead, Ready to rack up, and go home to bedg Of the English and history classes we shared, And the marvelous feeling of homework prepared: Of the wonderful musical presentations Which we will remember for generationsg Of pep assemblies where we all had fun Hoping our team would be number one. ln Basketball - our record wasn't bad - ln second place - we couldn't feel sad! Of F's which caused a great deal of fumin' And the constant conviction that teachers aren Three marvelous years that have gone all too fast And now we look back and remember the past- We now will go forward with memories of winning, This isn't the end - we're only beginning. and coldg 't human!
