Gt eau 0 0y5 Presenting Andrew M. Vliet, Dean of Boys, our versatile, well-liked assistant principal! A Hoosier, Mr. Vliet taught first in the rural schools of Indiana, and later, having been discharged from the army in World War One, came to Tech, first to teach history, and then to head that department. Since he has been assistant principal, Mr. Vliet has given advice and aid not only to individuals but also to vari- ous clubs and organizations. Often you may see the Dean attending school sports, or watching the Cadets, as they drill. Many graduating classes have been counselled by him. We have always felt com- plete ease when talking to Mr. Vliet, and we are thank- ful lor the understanding he has shown us in these three years of our school lite. drew . If

Lu' Qgrizzcipa s r s Glzi jg LLSHCZ Mr. Daniel, Tech's genial principal, is the chief peacemaker of our school. A Wonderful sense of humor and complete poise at all times dis- tinguish him. His interest in cadets may be traced back to his own high school days when he was himself a captain. Formerly a math teacher, he has directed life at McKinley for many successful years, As may be said about very few principals, Mr. Daniel is a true father to the faculty and students. Their unquestionable loyalty to him is ample proof of the high regard and affection which he inspires. 1 eepilzq fha I W ' EQCE
