J. . 1 NEXT YEAR S STUDENTS entenng the oval shaped lrbrary at Tech w1ll frnd the fam1l1ar face of Mlss Grady mrssrng from the hbrarran s desk 'vhss Grady to whom every student at one trme dur1ng h1s stay at McK1nley has brought h1s problems when teachers have assrgned last m1nute reports rs leavmg us th1s year Mrss Grady s career as a l1brar1an began when she became head of the chrldren s lrbrary at Takoma Park From there M1ss Grady came to Tech and her excellence rn carrng for the lrbrary has no equal Very few people understand the task of keepmg books avarlable at all trmes and mak mg the readmg of books attractrve to all but Mrss Grady has fulfrlled th1s task to the satrsfactron of everyone SHI Htlkl l00Ll A WELL KNOWN SHOP teacher at Tech Mr Henry Noble leaves us at our graduatron thrs year after servmg at Tech almost contmuously srnce l9lO wrth the excep tron of a four year absence spent rn mun1t1or1s work dur mg the last World War Whrle here he taught Physrcs General Scxence and shop courses In collaboratron wrth Mr Lamb he completed plans for the McK1nley stage For the last twelve years every student at Tech has had occaston to meet Mr Noble for he has been 1n charge of the d1str1but1on of locks and lockers After h1s retrrement from McK1nley Mr Noble wrll st1ll keep ln contact wlth the young people through h1s Boy Scout work rn Falls Church Thrs h1s rnterest m photography fore1gn languages and h1s three chrldren servmg rn the armed forces w1ll keep hrm well occupred
