Our Print Shop has a press of which most printing establishments would be proud. Our Machine Shops have lathes which will make parts ior an intricate machine exact to within one fifty-thousandth oi an inch. Our Auto Shop trains mechanics. Mold and Metal and Cabinet Shops are equipped to give beginning skills to boys interested in wood and metal trades. The Elec- tricity Laboratory gives the elementary fundamentals for electric workers. Now it is maintained to provide school supplies, replace damaged or lost books, and supply all materials used in night school. All types ol Tech emblems may be purchased irom the Book Exchange. This enables the students to show their school spirit more abundantly. A student stalf is selected and trained by Miss Bartlett and is always on duty. The present members ot this stali are: H. The concerts are given by the more advanced students who have been in the training group at least one year and have been advanced to the concert group. Meeting once a week. the club creates a greater interest in the corps and brings about closer friendships among the officers. The Sabre Club dances. well attended by the cadets and their friends, were again the school's social highlights of the year. Clirnaxing the year was the Regimental Ball open only to cadets and cadet alumni. The Sabre Club worked closely together with the Chevrons Club in sponsoring the Cadet Night entertainment and competitions. Miss Mc- Camman was the faculty advisor. and members are the commissioned officers of the Second Regiment. s anis The Spanish Club is one of the oldest clubs at Tech, having been founded in 1917. Titel dl claim tau Although this club was intended to be purely social, their activities belie this, for it contributes much to the life here at Tech. When money is asked lor Tech Aid, this organization always responds generously. At Christmas they fill a basket, and at Thanksgiving the club gives money for some poor family. All the members outside of school belong to some lob's Daughters chapter.
