H124 A QUARTETTE OF REAL ABILITY The fine, outstanding ability ot DAVID BARSA and GEORGE GEE has been recognized by the faculty of severul departments. David has been selected as the outstanding Math student of the year while the English department has pronounced him a real genius in vocabulary, He ties with George tor highest honors in Physics while George tops the classes in Chemistry as the finest student and outranks all others as ideal history student. The Techite pays tribute to this pair ot real students. The Biology department has selected TOM MATTINGLY as the student of the year. His fine work in that field has attracted the attention ot his teachers and has caused him to be selected as outstanding student in the Biology classes. MARGARET MILLS has been recommended as Poet Laureate of McKinley by the English department, As the author of the best poem of 1939 and other outstanding work she excels in poetry among the seniors.
