Hereafter we will be only visitors. T'ech's doors admitted us three years ago to prepare for the future. We have enjoyed those years of suc- cesses-a few failures, but always cheerfully over- come. As these same doors close behind us we look for- ward to greater tasks, bigger accomplishments. We are now men and women, having our own places in the world. You may see many of us in the offices and stores downtown in the daytime, but at night you will prob- ably find us in some nearby university or business school, always hoping to rise higher in our chosen fields. lust as our elders were, we will be. Being leaders in government and politics, and many other tasks, we will continue from the point where they stopped. The rest of us will toil all day for several years more, having even higher ambitions and more time than our classmates. Where will our hard-worked- for high school diplomas be then? The boys have theirs in the bottom of a trunk, and the girls' are in chests with sachet. They no longer mean what they used to. Then we will be taking three-hour final exams for our college diplomas. Our class rings will give way to college rings-like the di- plomas. Will we have gained in wisdom as well as knowl- edge? 029:
