They try to become acquainted with biology, develop understanding, and foster attitudes which will make them better people. Throughout the year they have had var- ious speakers at their regular meetings. The Business Leaders of Tomorrow is an organization helpful to those members of the S. H. S. family' interested in commercial vo- cations. The club meets the seco d and fourth Thursday of each month. The club sponsored noon dances which were held Wednesday. The group also has ordered a film con- cerning a day with a secretary and has made several interesting field trips du ing the year. The Vertebra Club is an organization for freshman students who have a keen interest in science. They promote such traits as cautiousness, openmindedness, tolerance, accuracy, and good judgment. The group has had many interesting meet- ings such as the one at which Marshal James Marshall spoke on the science of fighting crime. At another meeting Mr. Merrell spoke on photography. To round out the year, the group held a spring banquet which had as its theme WConser- hation.'
