TINKHAM, by his wise guidance and kind interest in each student, forever endeared himself to tall. l'le seemed as much a part of our high school as the walls of old McKinley itself. It is then with deep regret that we bid farewell to him as principal of McKinley l-ligh School. Although we can never thanlc him for what he has done for us, we sincerely trust that what we have thus far achieved and hope to accomplish in the future will be a small expression of our gratitude for his efforts and sincere appreciation of the standards of citizenship instilled in our lives through his untiring zeal. Therefore, we the class of 1938 wish to dedicate this annual to Mr. Tinlcham. l Mr. Tinlcham Bids Farewell Page 6 Uage 7 GLENN D, TINKHAM BOARD OF EDUCATION Dr. W. G. Sexton, President George S. From the boys who toolc part in the tournament, Mr. Menzel, the boxing coach, selected a squad ol boxers to Fight other schools. Marshfield fought seven other schools starting with a decisive victory over Rib Lalce, and continuing on through Medford, Stevens Point, Wausau, and Portage to one of the most successful seasons since boxing started.
