.fdcfiuifiea Loyalty to any school can be shown in this Way-participa- tion by the students in school activities. Out-of-class activities can determine the love of the pupils for their school. The lead- ers as well as the followers in life are often discovered in a simple thing such as a school club or organization. The best times a student will ever have and the most helpful education in life will be learned in these organizations. Here is one place where the character of a student is built. For it is in these groups that a student's real personality is revealed. To Work together and cooperate with people is one of the best les- sons leamed, and if it is learned well it will make a firm founda- tion and success in business. As We look back in later years, the fondest memories of our school days will be those which linger on from extra-curricular activities. The good times spent there will remain long after the English and history lessons conned in class. The words of our school song remind us that LOYALTY is a part of McKinley: As We journey down life's path our hearts will ever turn to you. Activities have always been and will always be an impor- tant part of McKinley, because it is in them that pupils often obtain lasting interests both in vocations and avocations. -Pat Ameln. v t , t J, ' -'Att ' A if eff 3 -nrtf.-new titswfefzs.-.f2.
