5 NE never knows how much he misses something until he finds that he can no longer have it. To leave McKinley will be like leaving the best friend I have ever had. In my own four years at McKinley, I have made many never-to-be-forgotten acquaintances. The athletic teams, my classmates, and above all, my teachers have made my school days happy days. The privilege of calling myself a IvIcKinleyite and the right to a share in the School Spirit, both have been quite an honor to me. It will be for you, the Iuniors, the Sophomores, and the Fresh- men, to take up Where We, the Seniors, leave off. lt will be for you to get as much out of school as you can, contribute to the little things that have made our school outstanding: and above all, uphold the high McKinley standards that those before you have set.
