McKinley's basketball team, with one returning starter and a small team, faced probably the strongest schedule in many years. With four or more Juniors playing most of the time, the team did a respectable job winning 12 and losing 6. Three of these losses were to teams rated in the top ten in the state, Another loss was to Sharon, Pa. , one of the strongest teams in Pennsylvania. Next year's team will be an almost all veteran squad and certainly more success is anticipated. 114 . l if we ... ,..5:.f-:':s..:::- '--in -.'f,e,.:.'
