Our attitudes toward school Work will provide a basis for our future life. The rewards of hard work in gaining an edu- cation will be an incentive to continue on in the World. Throughout high school, many students learn by experiencing work in their chos- en professions. This experience is afforded either by the school or by the students, own initiative. Experience received in school goes far beyond manual labor and into emotional status. ln school, through the various functions performed, we experience a small part of the outside World into which We will proceed. ln later life, experience will very often be a criteria for our advancement. It is dur- ing these years that We learn how to gain this requirement for life. Well do these hands know the work which they will perform in this girl's profession as a secretary. I will prepare myself and someday my chance will come. Cheryl Sekely seems io agree with the advice of Abraham Lincoln as she makes use of her study period.
