DEDICATIUN HAROLD S VINCENT Superintendent of Scboolf I will attempt to make the Canton public schools the finest in the state of Ohio declared Harold S Vincent when he took the office of Superintendent of Schools in 1947 Mr Vincent has taken steps toward this goal I-Ie has devoted his energies to furthering the opportunities of Canton school children so that each child may realize the most of which he is capable Mr Vincent has also put Canton s teachers in a pro Prior to his present position Mr Vincent has had a variety of experience in public schools In Akron he was Assistant Superintendent of Schools and had formerly been teacher principal and director of research in that city As a graduate of Greenville College in 1973 Mr Vincent obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree In 1937 he received his Master of Arts degree from Ohio State Univer sity At the present time he is an advanced graduate student at Western Reserve Uni versity Page 5 as - ' - - - sv , - , . . .
