llIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII 6IZi0I' Qbkly, JHIZLLHVQ uumnummuuumunmunun 6,1 gowns Zafknzq The Whole Towns Tallclng delightful three act play produced wlth a cast of Senlors was a great success The story concerns a man Mr Slm mons that IS attempting to marry hls buslness partner Mr Blnnty to his daughter Ethyl Mr Bmney has had no experlence wlth women and so he 1 shy and awkward ln the presence of Ethyl However at the time Ethyl 1S Interested ln a French gentleman and to attract her to Mr Blnney he and her father pretend that Blnney has had a love affalr wlth a great movle actress Lettxe Lythe Thl catches Ethyl s 1nterest lmmedlately and very soon the two are engaged Unex pectedly Miss Lythe comes to town and out of Jealousy Ethyl breaks her engagement to Blnney The whole plot of the two men IS exposed and thnngs begun to come back to normal and Ethyl and Mr Bxnney are unlted and all ends well The lead1ng parts were very ably played by Corrine Melechar as Ethyl Fred Young as Mr Bmney Vern DeFore as Mr Simmons The rest of the superb cast lncluded Betty Allen der as Mrs Simmons Alfred Peter son as Elmer the tax1 drlvcr George Marsh as Roger Shlelds Ethyl s French Friend Mary Ann Pohorslcy as Llla Wllson Mary Ann Snouffer as Sally Oates Zona H111 as Annette Frank Fullcerson as Donald Sw1ft eanne Hamblln as Lettle Lyrhe Shxr ley Weaver as Sadie Bloom Mlldred Fltzgerrald Geraldme Foggy and Ar lene Lyons as Mrs aclcson and her glrs Th1S play was dlrectcd by our cap able dramatlcs coach Mlss Geraldlnc Green 7 1 6 0 6 et s - ,as a i - re- : ' ' 9 ' ' ' , , . .
