Others benefit by assimilating technical knowledge useful in do -it-yourself projects. The industrial arts department, headed by Jun Lum Young, offered eleven different subjects this year. Courses in architec- tural drawing, drawing andpalnting, com- mercial art, ceramics, printing, wood- work, metal shqa, electricity, radio, and auto mechanics were popular among stu- dents. These courses served as spring- boards to careers and provided credits acceptable toward university entrance.
