Art academy excursions were a part of our educational program. We also attended assem- blies to hear talks by Miss Irmgard Hormann of the Library of Hawaii on various good books of the world. As time waits for no one, Iune was soon upon us and happywere those who were promoted. So ended our first memorable year at McKinley, filled with fun and work.
