Mr- Q' u Seniors 0 With commencement exercises only a few days away, every Senior realizes that his high school days will soon be over. To the Seniors, the three years have gone all too quickly and the pleasant contacts in the classrooms and on the campus will fade into memory. Before we turn the page of the class of l936, let us turn back two years when the Seniors were but groping and struggling Sophomores. 0 Entering as Sophomores, the members quickly familiarized themselves with every phase of school activity and were eager and cooperative participants. Class officers for that year were James Peltier, President, Ah Nee Leong, Vice-President, Ah Sinn Leong, Secretary, and Minoru Okimoto, Treasurer. Mary Shinn was appointed to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Ah Nee Leong. 0 As Juniors, President Sing Chan Chun led the class through a successful year with the assistance of Margaret Chun, Vice-President, Ah Sinn Leong, Secretary, and Minoru Oki- moto, Treasurer. Class Day, held on March 27, l935, was one of the outstanding events of that year. The Quest of Character, an allegory based on McKinley High School's Code of Honor, was presented. Climaxing the activities of a successful year, a delightful Junior Prom was held at the Armory Hall on April l5. 0 With the advent of the Senior year, Duke Cho Choy, lnez Kong, Shizue Katashima, and Hichiro Miyamoto served as President, Vice- President, Secretary, and Treasurer respec- tively. ln the various fields of forensics, ath- letics, dramatics, art, and publications, mem- DU KE CHOY CHO President SH IZUE KATASHIMA Secretary Mrs Mary Harris, Adviser Senior Pinion Staff
