Principal of the High School Building is Dr. Wayne E. Mason, assisted by Mr. Shelby Erwin as Vice-Principal and Mr. James Steel HS Administrative Assistant. This year 2181 students attended this building, 581 seniors, 811 juniors, 789 sophomores. Four courses of study are lava1l- able to students in this school: College Preparatory for those pl-anninglm continue their schooling in college, Commercial for those Wishing llfam' ing in secretarial and oflice employment, Business for those who desire to enter retailing and clerical fields, and General for those who Wish a broad course of study. av . 7'Mw W- ,J 'gy 9, 1 , I n as ff! S 521' V W ' Z7 V At Vocational School,' the principal is Mr. Benjamin B. Disegi, with Mr. Bert Johnson as Director of Vocational Education. Designed to offer students experience in vocational fields, the school this year attracted 682 students, 179 seniors, 207 juniors, 200 sophomores, and 96 freshmen. Shop training which alternates with regular academic classes on a Weekly basis, is offered to tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade students in nine fields: auto mechanics, commercial art, drafting, television and radio, industrial electricity, machine shop, patternmaking, sheet metal, and Woodworking, a course in beauty culture is available for one class of twelfth-grade girls.
