Qaculty EARNING is the most important part of school. To learn the student must have pref sented to him facts that he can grasp and under' stand. The teacher accomplishes this difficult task. Vv7hether the subject is math or shorthand, biology or history, the teacher helps the student to over' come the difiiculties of the course. A teacher is not only an instructor, but also a friend, an understand' ing companion. Vx7hen the student has become a graduate, he realizes that the teachers who gave detailed assign' ments, long examinations, and occasional reprif mands were in reality shaping his character. Encouragement and praise given to a deserving student are cherished and remembered throughout life. The teacher is a guide through the important years.
