For thirty-one years, Mr. Joseph Washington has been dedicated to help- ing students and working with all phases of the total school program. His hard work with landscaping has beautified the school campus for all of us. Always generous, Mr. Washington treats many students and faculty members to his an- nual spring barbecue. A basket- ball coach for twenty-eight years, Mr. Washington can be seen at most athletic events. Ever a good sport himself, “Mr. Wash“ will long be remembered for his starring role in the faculty homecoming skit. Despite his many school responsi- bilities, Mr. Washington has also been involved in various community projects, civic organizations, and church func- tions. Therefore, with much pride and affection we proudly dedicate the 1987 BUCCANEER to Mr. Joseph A. Washington. 16
