FAREWELL SENIORS Seniors for years have gone their way With all their blessings from MCIA. Some have traveled to success, Others found matrimonial happiness. But they always turn their helping hand To a day of need they understand. They help the cause, they hear the cry, Forever faithful, Mclndoes Alumni. We will miss you Seniors one and all, When we return to school next fall. We are sure you'll be honored whatever you do. Good Luck to all and God bless you. NORENE BLAKE Junior MCINDOES M is for Mclndoes, the school of much worth, C is for centennial that honored its birth, I is for interest we all must impart, N is for nobleness we'll pour from our heart, D is for democracy which we hope to retain, O is for order, may the Academy maintain, E is for equality, race, color, or creed, S is for standards by which we succeed. ANN POLLARD Junior MCINDOES ACADEMY In a little New England town, Its stately old white pillars Set back among the trees, Have sheltered many a man Is a famous old Academy Who went out into the world just meant for you and me. To a goodly life of fame. From the tread of many feet In all the land there is no other The stairs are mighty Worn Academy quite so grand! They could tell many a story Here's to faculty and pupils! Of life's battles fought and won. For Mclndoes I'll take my stand BILLY Pacon FOR MY DEAR SAVIOR There is a little white church in the valley, The sweet sound of the church-going bell, Where the people gather together on the Sabbath, The sweet story of Jesus to tell. How He died on the cross to save sinners, How He died to save those who are lost, Like the 99 sheep that had a shelter, I am like the one on the hill which was lost. I hope some day I will meet my dear Savior, Where I shall sleep sweetly at the foot of his cross. JEANIE HUNT Sophomore 27
