The fol- Q v lowing officers were elected: President, Joan Whitey Vice President, W , Patricia Littleg Secretary, Dorothy Dubeg Treasurer, Jerolyn Newellg and Student Councils, Carroll Choate and Patricia Fenn. C r ' As you all know we were eager beavers to earn money. So, our glass planned a food sale. Later, in October we had the Halloween arty. 5 v In the gir1's basketball, we had four girls from our class on the first team and two boys for the first team on the boy's basketballga team. ' ga' + Also, in Prize Speaking this year, we had the honor of having ,Q , one of our classmates, Patricia Little, come out third. Q Our class this year has had the same number of students es it N had last year, with the exception of Dixie Dickey transfering to w Groton and Kenneth DeRusha taking her place. Well, so long. The General manager for the magazine drive was Beverly Hadley. o our class was second in the amount of subscriptions solo. Robert K, Ward won third prize in the amount of subscriptions for individuals. W The Freshman Initiation and Reception on September 25 was a Q great success. The Sunny Valley Five furnished the music for eg dancing. QE The prize speaking contest was held Wednesday, November 5, with kj Beverly Hadley participating in the speaking contest. Marilyn Hetleyip and Phyllis Paradie were in the spelling bee with Marilyn Hatley M winning first prize.
