Louise was elected captain of the team and Karolyn, manager. Two sophomore boys, Gilbert and Kenneth, went out for basketball, to help the boys team become Hilldale League Champions. Tryouts for the Xmas play were held and when they were over, it was discovered that all those in the play were Sophomores. It was then a Sophomore Xmas play. On April 27, 1950, our class held a dance at Monroe Town Hall with music by Chaloux's Orchestra. On September 8, l95O our class held it's first class meeting as Juniors. We elected the following officers: President.......................Lou1se Brown Vice President... ....Kenneth Emery Secretary .... ... ....Valor1e Sicard Treasurer........ . ....Karolyn Rutledge Student Counc1l.... ..... .Gilbert Theroux Loucille Schilling At our first meeting we voted to raise class dues to 20d a week, the extra five cents going to our treasury. Again a large portion of the girls went out for basketball. Louise and Loucille were elected the Co-Captains. Kenneth and Gilbert made varsity on the boys' squad. The cheerleaders from the Junior class were Louise Brown, Valerie Sicard, Lena Sheppard and Loucille Schilling. Loucille was elected captain. when we started school, Earl Mosher had transferred here from Trade School, but left after a couple of months. AT LAST WE ARE NILLUSTRIOUSN SENIORSI g we had our first class meeting the second day of school. Class gofficers were elected as follows: President Karolyn Rutledge Vice President Kenneth Emery Secretary Loucille Schilling Treasurer Gilbert Theroux Student Council Louise Brown g Barry Story S Our dues are again 20d a week and shall be paid in advance or :once a month. E Our senior play was given in Monroe Town Hall on the 15th of 1 November.
