By this time we have been to Aunt Jenn1e's and are back. Talk about automobile troubles, they use to have Dobbin trouble! Gone also are the things in life we want most these things are courtesies. The young man of today drives into the yard, honks his horn loudly while his girl friend puts on her own coat, goes running down the walk opens the door for herself and they are off. Think of all the conveniences that we have living in this day and age, and the few conveniences Gramma had but she never complained We are still seeking modern equipment to make the task at hand eas- ier. Also seeking higher wages for doing as little work as possible. True to the American government and countries abroad wanting more than they have, getting it by hook or by crook, rather that enjoying what they have now and making the best of it. with no thought where the money is coming from to meet expenses. To much credit is worse than not enough. And we will be on the spot until we learn to live in a bracket that is equivalent to our income and the same applies to the American government. We would rather be living in Gramma's day when the boy came to the front door and knocked, waiting patiently to be invited in. It wouldn't matter so much to us if we had only Dobbin for transportat- ion as long as we were not taken for granted. Be aware gentlemen, when you go calling on your best glrl, remember some of the courtesies of the good old days.
