Dinner was served at 11: 15 to the grandparents, students, and faculty. Right after dinner the guests were entertained by the mixed chorus, the boys' ensemble, the bands, and elementary singing groups. The tumblers and the pom-pon girls also performed. Later there was a competition of the Toothpick Bridge Creations. The winners were Ronn, Dean, and Darwin with their bridge holding around 163 lbs. From there, the people went to the chemistry exhibits, science, grade room, and typing displays. Around 2:00, the speech class put on a program consisting of panto- mimes, speeches, and readings. The last event was the science displays in Mrs. Pound's Room. McHenry High School baseball history was made when the Blazers qualified for the North Dakota State High School Baseball B Tournament payed in Jamestown at McElroy Park May 27.
