I asked him if he remembered how we used to tease Leo Hoffman about? ? ? Then he told me of Leo's good fortune. Leo had been prospecting for uranium in the Klondike region of Alaska and whenever prospecting became too dull he pursued his hobby of making model airplanes. It seems that by sheer ingenuity, he de- veloped some sort of interballistic missile that would remain in orbit for 379 days, anyway, many irate housewives secured enough money to bribe Leo to send their hubbies up in this Hoffman Special. I guess he's a millionaire now, driving a pink Cadillac with two yellow wheels, two green wheels, and a red spare tire on the back. I discovered that Ervin Somerville has, also, done very well. He has become a successful business executive in New York. Lynne tells me that Ervin is a bit paunchy now, imagine that! I was also told that Ervin prefers blonde secretaries, well, business is business. Since Larry Lynne and I have a profession in common, we spent another half hour discussing the pro's and con's of teaching. We both decided there are many more pro's than con's--and once again reiterated upon a few more reminiscences of our senior year of high school. gears,
