It 1S w1th great prxde we ded1cate the 1951 Spectrum to a former member of the School Board Arthur M M1dgley Dur1ng the quarter of a century that Mr lVl1dgley served on the board there were many try1ng years He was mnstru mental mn keepxng the school operat1ng dunng the depresslon years He traveled far and w1de 1n h1s efforts to ra1se or borrow money to keep the school system open It was however when M1dge was appomted Bu1ld1ng Supenntendent of the new school that he made his greatest contr1but1on to the commumty He spent much t1me travehng to gather ldeas from the constructxon of other schools CheCk1Hg wxth the onstruchon crew two or three tlmes a day dur1ng the bu1ld1ng of the new school and It 1S through h1s v1s1on and thoroughness that we have thxs excellent school buxldxng Wxth ded1cat1on the students faculty parents and the commun1ty say wxth deep s1ncer1ty Thanks Mr M1dgley D6dlCGf1OH 4 . . . n n , o e o O - D Q .5 . 99 . . . 7 I . . . - . s I . ns . . . e. 1 I 5 . . . 9 7 9 . . . . 4. . gg U y , . s q u
