JAC 1171671-4 ?7L0'lLS 66 G7ld,'fi07L OF THE SENIOR CLASS OF 1952 MHS When in the course of school events it becomes necessary for the Senior Class to dissolve the educational bonds which have connected it to the other classes and for its members to assume the duties of crtrzenshtp for which their school life has prepared them a decent respect to the opinion of the other classes requires that they should transcribe this history leading up to their graduation We the Senior Class of 1952 entered the halls of M H S in the fall of 1948 feelmg a bit apprehens ive but eager to begin our higher education Our class c ongress elected Bud Clements President Howard Carr Vice President Elizabeth Ramsey Stewart Treasurer Rita Faye Anderson Reporter and James D McCarty during our first year of school As our second session convened we elected as class officers Howard Clements Vice President Joyce Weiss Secretary Rita Faye Anderson Ramsey and Katherine Stewart Reporters and Miss Bonnie Hackbarth Sponsor As Junior statesmen we began our third session by electing as Co sponsors Mrs Irene Price Secretary Katherine Sponsor to govern us Carr President Bud Treasurer Elizabeth Rita Faye Anderson Treasurer Elizabeth Ramsey Reporters, Joyce Weiss and Mary Ann Young Our Queen candidate Rita Faye Anderson was crowned Queen of the 1951 Halloween Carnival To climax our third session we presented a banquet for the Senior Class Taking our honored places as Senior S tatesmen we chose Mr T H Jenkens, Miss Lena Amsler, and Miss Ruth Howard as our Sponsors For our governing body we elected Bud Clements President Joyce Weiss Vice President Rita Faye Anderson Secretary Frances Wilson Treasurer and LaWanna Williams and Bobbye Wehring, Reporters For the Halloween Carnival Queen candr date we chose LaWanna Williams And for the support of this declaration and with a firm reliance on what the future holds for us we mutally pledge to each other our Lives our Fortunes and our sacred Honor 'E .5 -1,-J.. :1' kg Q0 3 ia -lr: .5 . l .
