I , 1 Q' eq V r gy Ai, .Ill , 3, ' 13: f ADMINISTRATION Dear Seniors, lt has often been said that what the world needs is the spirit of co- operation rather 'than competition. The class of 1967 seems to personify this kind of outlook. In all of its en- deavors the desire to work together has been the guide. As a result the class's many talents have been mar- shalled to face problems that have arisen. As you go on to college, work or service remember that desire pro- vides the drive to succeed, but co- operation is what makes a winning team. No individual can be a success without the cooperation of other people. No Man is an lsland. Best of luck. Just about every team record was broken as the J.V.'s fielded a strong man in every position and came within a Whisker of earn- ing their first championship. The team finished with a 7-3 record in spite of the fact halfback John Franklin was iniured following the fifth game of the season. McGraw outscored all opponents 28-14. Top individual performers included center forward Zeke Atkins, wings Ed Harris and Jeff Kelsen, Halfback Kevin Coombs, fullbacks Mearland McUmber and Doug Williams, and Goalie Carl Van Etten. One record was set by scoring 13 times out ot 14 attempts set by Bill Schacter who previously tied the scoring in one game ot 37 points. Mc- Graw wouldn't have won it it weren't for team effort.
