Science imcs Ferris.-llary Reiter, and Marion Towers are shown working on an tpermu-nt with the element carbon and its properties in CHEMISTRY. This is a typical picture of two of the CHEMISTRY class' most curious scientists, Carole Berean and Janice Van Epps. In this picture they are shown preparing an experiment on carbon that Janice is putting into a test tube. Carole is reading the list of articles that will be needed for tbeicxperiment. By the way, Janice is our one and only post-graduate slut ent. I F v I .. vrn' ' Velma Kelley and Norman Allen are in- tently watching Richard Stafford as he points out some of the characteristics of the trigo- nometric funetions. There were eight Seniors who took this course in TRIGONOMETRY the first semester. During the second se- mester ADVANCED ALCICIIRA was offered and seven Seniors were enrolled, thus com- pleting four years of mathematics.
