PHYSICAL FITNESS Our gym class activities run by groups in the different seasons of the year. ln the fall. when we first come back to school. we play football, soccer and many other active outside sports. With the first snowfall the basketball season starts. Under the direction of Coach Potter we learn the fundamentals of basketball and volleyball. As spring starts to appear the basketballs disap- pear and we start doing stunts and per- forming on the flying rings. When school starts in the fall we play hockey and soccer. lnside in the winter it's tumbling, flying rings and dancing. Finishing the school year in the Spring we are outside trying our hand at field softball, track and archery. Physical Education is a welcome break in the dayis schedule.

Looking forward to lVlay and the Albany trip was the incentive to make the card sales a success. Total sales were ahout 351.250 and a neat profit realized from this. The annual play on March 11th meant hours of practicing, but the opening nightn d l 'th all the outside proved these hours well spent. June meant regents an a ong wi activities class work kept its pace so that the final day of school came with a feeling of success for the year,s effort.
