In September the eighth grade formed s club which they called nThe 1952 Glub.n The following officers were elected: President-Henry Wadsworth Vice-President-Allan Bean Secretary-Barbara Wheelock Treasurer-Janice Pittman Adviser-Mrs. Mildred Honkins At Halloween time We had a narty in the school wym and the seventh graders and teachers were our guests. During National Book Week we visited the Lamont Memorial Library, where Mrs. Walter, llbsrlen, made us acquainted with the many new books. In January,we mgdg another visit to the Library for s book review. At Christmas our room was festive with a Christmas tree and we contributed with the senior high school, in an assembly orogram. We invited our narents, the faculty and seventh grade to a Valentine dance in the school gym on February eleventh. We have high-hooes for our next year as lowly freshmen. 19

Frieda Loomis Joined the class shortly after the opening of the first term., The , boys of the Freshman Class have made a good start in the.athlet1c fields Paul Wothe, Douglas Fuller, Jack Norton, Philin Niver, and James Belnao reoresent the class on the teams, The entire eleven gjflglhave Joined Leaders Cluojand Barbara Gwen is the Freshman renresentative on the cheerleading suuad, We hone to be one of the most aeitve classes to graduate from the-MCGFQW High School.
