As a result, more than a 150 pages have been set up as a campus diary whic . we hope will appeal to the undergraduate student as well as to the student in his graduating year. We, ot the Managing Board, would like to thank all those who have helped to make this year's Annual a success. You will go out into a world still beset with innumerable political and economic problems and threaten ed with many dangers. It is, indeed, possible that the career which you have planned may be interrupted by a call to national service of one kind or another. I urge you, nevertheless, to be of good heart, in the Knowledge that, with your special education and train- ing, you will be able to play an important part what- ever happens. I can assure you, after a long and varied experience, that there is no more lasting satisfaction, either in peace or in war, than the realization of having given of one's best in what ever field one has been called upon to serve.
