140 As previously seen on the preceding pages, this year the Senior Superlatives were divided into categories and ap- propriate persons selected by the Senior class to represent them for the year 1978-79. In conjunction with these cate- gories the distinction of being chosen Mr and Miss McGa- vock was given to eight outstanding Seniors this year. These people were chosen because they best denote all of the qualities which the total Senior Superlative section attempts to display. = Every year the Civitan Award is given to one young man from each small school on the basis of citizenship and community involvement. This year the recipients are: Jeff Jolly; Drew Wilkerson; Morris Proc- tor. Not pictured: Keith Churchwell. The D.A.R. (Daughter of the American Revolution Award) was given to one girl in each small school and they receive rec- ognition during the graduation ceremony.
