“ se cadence tsaies East School The students of McGavock East chose Steve Garner for the 12th grade, Steve Flatt for the 11th grade, and Joy Flatt for the 10th grade to rep- resent them on the ’71-’72 Executive Committee. They have aided the homeroom representatives in arrang- ing such activities such as assem- blies, dances and pep meetings. They have done a really great job this year and the juniors and sophomores are looking forward to a fantastic next year.

North School The duly elected members of the McGavock North Executive Com- mittee for the year ‘71-’72 are An- thony Durham—senior, Steve Doran —junior, and Jo Anne Benson— sophomore. This year, Anthony, Steve, and Jo Anne have done a superb job of curbing chaos. Actual- ly, the homeroom representatives have really succeeded in getting our student government off to a good start. Next year’s student council will have large shoes to fill.

South School The McGavock South Executive Com- mittee for ‘71-72 consisted of Tho- mas Miller--senior, Sherrill Morris— junior, and Pam Rutherford—sopho- more. They have been helpi ng each other to direct the activities of those chosen by their individual home- rooms. This has been a hectic first year, but they have come through with flying colors. They have set many precedents for the years to come and next year’s council has much to look forward to.
