The vocational aspect of McGavock | amazes many people. For example, what other school has its own T. V. studio? With cameras, tapes, and special light- ing, someday we might be able to pro- duce our own show. Among the unique things at McGavock is our astronomy lab. By having our own planetarium, our science depart- ment has drawn the attention of more students. | In the vocational wing of McGavock, we have an auto shop. This course helps to prepare students for a future in auto mechanics. Besides having an auto shop and astronomy lab, we also have our own computer. Yes, McGavock is different and we have many opportunities awaiting us. CT GEE:

When entering McGavock, you’d think you were going through a small town. As you walk through the halls, you soon come upon the small theatre. With cushioned seats, special lighting, and a modern atmosphere, who can’t be proud of it? In another section of the building is our printing shop. The equipment and supplies we have are very useful.
