From the first time we stepped into McGavock, each of us noticed how dif- ferent our school really was. One of the most modern differences was the Carpet. When we walked into the classrooms, our eyes were focused on the walls between each classroom — there were none! QOpen-space classrooms and 3- room “pods’’ were new to everyone. Among classroom conveniences were private desks called ‘study carrels.” These independent desks have been very useful. Also, McGavock is equipped with many nice conference rooms.
