 McSwen Migh foreword Perfection, beauty, regality - qualities for which every student wishes his Alma Mater to stand. McEwen High School has long been a top school, known and loved by many students. In more recent years, admiration has rapidly increased with our growing school, a school striving to attain a goal. Today, we may stand aside, and with one satisfying glance, be convinced that McEwen High has reached this goal - the attainment of which has brought with it those very qualities that students yearn to claim. With progress comes perfection could well be the motto of McEwen. The mighty Scotties have a large, modern gymnasium to host visiting teams. The splendid loca- tion of M. H. S. has also led to its progress. The science department and the library have contributed greatly to the completeness of the school. Thus is indicated the per- fection that has accompanied the progress of McEwen High. Webster defines beauty as the quality which gratifies the eye. Such a definition is certainly representative of our school. It has been said the beauty is as beauty does - and M. H. S. is very definitely beautiful in both appearance and individuality. Last, but far not least, a feeling of regality reigns supreme over the campus of McEwen. Whether one be a student of yesteryear or one of today, a feeling of pride is always with him when he contem- plates his splendid school. Perfection, beauty, regality - these belong to McEwen High - this is our Alma Mater.
