Winning a speech trophy her senior year. Nan also held offices of student-body secretary, Girls' League treasurer and marshal, and Highlander editor. She was chosen to attend Girls' State by the American Legion Auxiliary, and is active in church and community work. Nan, an active member of various clubs, belongs to Thes- pians, Torch Honor, and Pep Band. She plans to con- tinue her education at the University of Oregon at Eugene, Oregon. Lynn Margaret Whitacre, graduating with a GPA of 3.975, has participated in Torch Honor, Thespians, Pep Band, and Glee Club. Lynn has completed a year as Girls' League president and cheerleader of the stu- dent body. Also Lynn recently held the office of Worthy Advisor in Rainbow and was chosen as one of the four princesses of the Pendleton Round-Up. As an active church and community worker, Lynn was voted Girl-of-the-Month for co-operation. Lynn plans to continue her education at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington.
