dedication We, the staff of 1956 57 dedicate the Bagpipe's” to the Class of 1957 to show our thanks to them for the achievements they have made and for their leadership which has helped to develop a more democratic high school. We would like to mention some of the offices and appointments that the members of this class have held-the Editors of the Annual and Newspaper, Student Body President, Secretaries, Treasurer, Football and Basketball Captains, Majorettes, and Cheerleaders, who started the Cheerleader Work- shop. They have held offices all four years in G.A.A., Pep Band, Lettermans Club, F. F.A., Band, and Classes. A number of these students have entered speech contests in which they have gone to state to compete. For three years the class has given school plays. A major achievement of which the class is very proud is the high grade point average the class has maintained. Outside of school we have many honored students who have been Girls State Delegates, Delegates to State and National F.F.A. Conventions, Umatilla Fair Court Princess, Pea Festival Princess, United Nations Delegate, Queen and Princesses of Junior Prom, and F.F.A. Sweethearts. The majority of the class are active in Church and Civic Affairs. We congratulate the Class of 1957 and wish you success in your future years. THE BAGPIPE'S STAFF
