fORGWORd Dear Friends, When we begin school we are like glowing embers, which have been made to glow by the training we have received from our parents at home, our community, and our church. Each day in school we have a goal that we may either reach or leave be- hind. Some of the glowing embers may reach their goal and burn on to a higher one and others may bum out and become cinders. It is up to each individual to use his training and improve his leadership, scholarship, service, and character to add brightness to his ember. Through this book may you be able to see the progress of each student as he achieves his goals.
