FRESHMAN CLASS Left to Right—Back Row: Glenda Harris, Charlene Wiatt. Third Row: Beulah Bissonnett, Deloris Bunch, Robert Wolford. Second Row: Althea Swaggart, Sylvia Harden, Clifford Kraft, Gary VanOcker. First Row: Jimmy Knight, J. A. Pierce, Roland Faircloth, Forrest Baker. CLASS HISTORY The Freshmen started the year with the largest class (seventeen) in school. However, Forrest Ingalls, Patty McCollum and Beulah Bissonnett left, so we have just fourteen pupils. At the first of the year we elected the following class officers: President, Garry VanOcker; vice-president, Forrest Baker; secretary- treasurer, Sylvia Harden; Sergeant at arms, Clifford Kraft. The Freshmen had their annual Freshman initiation on Tuesday the 27th of September. The Sophomores gave us a dance afterwards. We held our annual Freshman picnic on Tuesday the 4th of October, but had a very drippy time, because of continous rain. The Freshmen entertained the student body and the faculty with a dance on April 28th.

Back Row: Warren Hunt, Jim Rice, Leon Montee, Paul Moore, Jr., Bud Schmidtgall, Mr. Hardin, Advisor. Not Pictured: Norma Satterlee. CLASS HISTORY The Sophomores started their class with ten students this year. We elected officers the first week with the following results: President, Warren Hunt; vice- president, Paul Moore; Secretary-treasurer, Jo Ann Huffman. The Sophomores started the Freshmen off right, with an initiation on September 27th. The Freshmen wore their traditional costumes during the day and at 7:30 that night came to the gym for the final initiation. After this the Sophomores sponsored a mixer for the student body. Most of the Sophomare boys turned out for all sports and are doing very well. The girls all belong to the G. A. A. We have been guided through this successful year by our advisor, Mr. Hardin.
