Administrators The Senior Class of 1955 marks an important milestone in the his- tory of the Millcreek Township School District as the Fiftieth Class to be graduated since the first senior class in 1905. The Class of 1905, consisting of one student, was graduated from a red brick building of only four rooms and basement which had been erected in 1901, and which is now a part of the present Millcreek Junior High School. Last year we moved into this new McDowell High School on November 16, 1954, and you are the first graduating class to spend a full year here. This year there are nearly as many Seniors being graduated as all the students combined in the first 25 graduating classes. The members of your Senior Class have labored long and hard in arranging and publishing this 29th volume of the Kaldron to preserve indelibly many moments of useful and happy memories. Keep this book throughout your life. Enjoy it as you are reminded of your high school days with all the privileges granted and opportunities available, and you will remember one of the greatest experiences of your life time - a high school education. lt is my wish that every student has enjoyed his high school years, and that each one has found the school a pleasant place in which to work and play. As you go on, l hope that you will feel that your school has challenged your pride, your spirit, your ideals and your high standard of achievement. Charles E.
