Basketball Meeting the powerful teams of Erie proved too much for the Trojans as they conquered' only Vincent in Big Six play. With no regulars from last vear's team re- turning, Coach Naz Servideo's team was picked from a handful of reserves and J.V.'s who fought hard but lacked the necessary ex- perience to defeat the veteran Erie cage squads. Highlights of the season were two victories over Vincent and a 3-1-26 decision over Conneaut. The Blue and White put up terrific fights in games with Prep, Acade- my, East. and Titusville before before being edged out in the final minutes. Looking at the players who made up the team we see three seniors, Bob, Bus, and Jim supple- mented by five juniors, Al, Hun, Mitch, Johnny and Ken. The juniors can look forward to next year but for the three seniors it is now or never. Bus has the ball, he's set., and he sxvishes a beautiful two-handed set shot . . . now Millcreek's got the ball again and Jim fakes his man and scores on a one-handed jump shot . . . there's Bob stealing a pass and racing the length of the floor to drop in a layup.
