DEDICHTIQ We dedicate this Iris to ALEXANDER ANGUS MCDONELL who passed to his eter- nal reward since the publication of the last Iris. Mr. McDonell's influence was not con- fined to one field but was felt in uncounted places. The McDonell Memorial High School of Chippewa Falls is a living, magnificent mon- ument to the genuine Christian spirit of A. A. McDonell as well as his illustrious father, the Hon. A. B. McDonell. The memory of A, A. McDonell will linger in Chippewa Falls as long as the Hilltop School exists-as long as the Catholic youth of this region continue to go to the McDonell Memorial High School. Daily grateful prayers well up from count- less youthful hearts and are wafted to the Great White Throne of God, pleading for the men who made a Catholic high school education possible in Chippewa Falls.
