John Johnson, Mike O'Hara, and Della Lawson find that ingenuity is a must for developing original ideas to complete the process of rolling Rollers.

Although the deadline nears and pressure mounts, layouts must be drawn and copy must be written. The hard work and pressure of meeting deadlines is bewildering at first but the final result, the 1966 Roller, makes it well worth the effort.

Student Council . . . u Miniature Government. There are cans everywhere you look! Where are we going to put them all? These cries were uttered many times by the committee of Student Council sponsoring the canned goods drive. The competition reached a peak as an all time record of over 2, 700 cans were collected for needy families during the Christmas season. Can committee Frances Bozin, Cheryl Zupon: vice president, Barbara Wheaton: Mary Catherine Dikung secretary, Martha Rishel: and president, Jon Barb pose with a variety of cans. i , i' McDonald High's student government is the organization which enforces fair school rules. Members of Student Council I are the presidents and secretaries of all the homerooms, president of Y-Teens, editor of the Informer, and managers of Swim Club. Student Council also plans a variety of proj- ects: supporting delegates for the Youngstown Youth Con- ference, holding a Scholarship Banquet at the end of the school year, and sponsoring a booth at the annual P.T.A.
