how - Lights . The girls try to work many different formations into their routines. By using interesting formations, variety is added to the show. Interesting costumes add color to the show Members of each routine choose costumes that will fit their music and look good in the water. Many times props are used to focus on the theme and add atmosphere to the routine.

Royal Swans Present 1-4th Annu Members of the Swan Club do some last- minute practicing to assure perfection of their routine, Baby Elephant Walk. Cindy Kish, Cecelia Hale, Cheryl Schmidt and Joyce Koniowsky are ready for their routine, Guns of Navarone. The members of the Royal Swan Club work many long, hard hours to prepare their annual swim show. The girls, along with their advisor, Miss Modarelli, select a theme, pick music, prepare routines, make costumes, and plan scenery to fit the theme. Each member works very hard and the club does its best to have a great show each year. The cygnets, or 'baby swans. have a special number of their own for the show. After their first show, they become Swans and are able to participate in more routines. This year the Cygnets were Diana Lawson, Gail Helt, Marianne Evans, Doris Alderfer, Virginia Vadi- no, Karen Steeves, and Linda Fitz.

BOB JOHNSON Finally, the event of the evening that every one looks forward to - the Grand March. Lovely young ladies promenade under crepepaper streamers which transformed the M.H. S. gym into a Parisian wonder- land. 1965 Prom King Two couples, Andy Golubic, Ruth Plecha, and Chuck Dolsak and Barbara Wheaton, pause beneath an Eiffel Tower of white tissue paper carnations.
