SENIOR G.A.A. ln keeping with the Space Age, the girls rock- eted off their C-.A.A. basketball with the Planet Players Tournament. There were ten teams participating. The cap- tains were Seniors - Shirl Jean Boynes, Barbara Jean Cousins, Nancy Hampson, Mary Beth Hamp- son, Judith Nadolny, Sally Joan Sawhill, Joyce Lee, Elizabeth Siry, Marianne Siry, and, last but not least, Isabelle Robertson. The team that stayed in orbit or won the tournament was the Neptunes, captained by Nancy Hampson. A second tournament was called the Pinnies Parade. There were eight teams, consisting of two teams from each class. The captains were: seniors, Nancy Hampson and Joyce Lee: juniors, Ann Carole Hospodar and Fern Smith: sophomores, Marion Thomassy and Karen Cook: and fresh- men, Linda Lescallette and Connie Pletincks. Officers for l958-l959 were: Shirl Jean Boynes, president: Edythe Jozwiakowski, vice pres- ident: Barbara Cousins, secretary: Marion Thom- assy, treasurerg and Judith Albertini as reporter. Referees were Joyce Lee, Shirl Jean Boynes. Mary Beth l-lampson, Jo Ann Turner, Patricia Capitani, and Janey Masquelier. Time and scorekeepers included Patricia Hart, Virginia Gilbert, Janet Heron, Carole Mont- gomery, Anna Marie Sansone, Beverly Cameron, and Dorothy Harris.
