Frequent summer practices paid off in the finished performances of the following fall. The band. under the direction of Mr. Harvey Lederstein, had a very successful year. Marching at football games and going through the intricate formations worked out by Mr. Leder- stein were the main activities of the fall season. Other activities included marching in the Emanci- pation Day parade and the l-lallowe'en parade. A well-received concert was given at Christ- mas time. Following the concert, the band had a party for the members of the audience.
