AN-AMER ICAN CL B Adelanlc siemprc acielante. flrorward al- ways forward., The Pan-American Club of McDonald High meets the first and third Mondays of each month. The officers are Karen Purdy, presi- denteg Bill Tornabene, vice presidenteg Pauline Eiler, secretariag Susie Randour, tesorerag Carol Eiler, reportera. Our club activities include reviewing books with Latin background: singing and dancing to Spanish musicg playing gamesg working puzzles: reading pen pal letters: Spanish movies, etc. Once a year we trek off in our chartered bus to a performance of famous Spanish dancers such as Jose Greco or Carmen Amaya. At Christmas, the club celebrates the an- nual Las Pasadas. The first-year students become P.A.C. members in February at an exciting initiation party where a pinata is broken. In March the newcomers return the party with a merienda. Before the year comes to a close, there must be una comida of frijoles and tortillas - and perhaps a picnic later on in the spring, but the big day for the P.A.C. is April I4, Pan- American Day. Hasta la vista mis amigos. Adios. P. A. C.
